Born in Anaheim, California, Michael didn’t grow up dreaming of being a writer. Instead, he had a very different idea for his life. After watching the events of the 9/11 disaster unfold, he wanted to serve his country and defend its ideals and beliefs. And so he did. Enlisting to serve in the U.S. Army. An adventure that would send him all the way to the Afghan desert and back.

Completing his tour of duty and returning home, he set his eyes on further serving his country as an FBI Agent. However, circumstances changed due to an injury, leaving him looking for something else to put his heart and soul into. After trying several different career paths, none of which sparked that emotion, he once had to serve his country. All he wanted to do was find a career that let him enjoy life. Mark Twain once said, “Find a job you enjoy doing, and you will never have to work a day in your life.”

The one thing Michael had always enjoyed in life was having an active imagination. Growing up as an only child required one. He always had a story to tell. Some new adventure to go on.

Deciding one day, it was time to put some of those stories to paper. Thus, a new career path began to take shape after writing several short stories. He decided to begin work on a full-length feature book, then another.

Using some of his experiences gained throughout life to help bring a sense of realism to his writing. He hopes that his stories will entertain people for years to come.
