Solider turned writer, using his life experiences and imagination to the page.
My Story
Born in Anaheim, California, Michael didn’t grow up dreaming of being a writer. Instead, he had a very different vision for his life. After witnessing the events of the 9/11 disaster unfold, he felt a calling to serve his country and defend its ideals and beliefs. And so he did, enlisting in the U.S. Army on an adventure that would take him to the Afghan desert and back.
After completing his tour of duty and returning home, he set his sights on further serving his country as an FBI Agent. However, circumstances shifted due to an injury, leaving him in search of something else to devote his heart and soul to.
After exploring several career paths, none of which ignited the passion he once felt, he found himself longing for a career that allowed him to truly enjoy life. Mark Twain once said, “Find a job you enjoy doing, and you will never have to work a day in your life.” The one thing Michael has always cherished was his active imagination.
Growing up as an only child fostered this creativity; he always had a story to tell—some new adventure. One day, he decided it was time to put some of those narratives on paper. Thus, after writing several short stories, an alternative career path began to take shape. He began working on a full-length feature book, followed by another. He draws from his real-life experiences to lend a sense of realism to his writing, hoping his stories will entertain people for years to come.
