Not every story needs a mission briefing, a manhunt, or an explosion. Michael’s short fiction focuses on the smaller moments that change people just as completely—grief, kindness, purpose, connection, and the choices that keep echoing afterward.
Featured Short-Fiction Project
Ripple Effects follows the unseen ways one life can alter another. The stories move through grief, compassion, purpose, and human connection, asking what happens when a seemingly small moment keeps traveling long after the people involved think it is over.
Read or Watch
The six written installments can be read individually or in sequence as one larger story. They have also been adapted into narrated cinematic episodes that combine voice, music, and visuals while preserving the emotional core of the original work.
The Themes
01 // Grief & Aftermath
The immediate event may end quickly. The story often begins with the people who still have to live after it.
02 // Kindness & Connection
Small acts can move farther than anyone expects, changing people who may never know where that change began.
03 // Purpose & Second Chances
The characters are often less interested in returning to who they were than in discovering who they can become afterward.
